East To West

Good Day,

Have you ever thought of how far the east is to the west this has been on my mind lately. It is infinite because on a flat infinite plane east and west will never meet. Or how deep the ocean is. Our sins are as far as the east is from the west and they are cast into the deepest ocean. I couldn't picture what this looks like and I so wanted to paint that picture. So I have made an attempt and am still working on this painting. I hope when it is finished it will convey in some way how I feel about what God has done for me. The women in this painting has her sin woven into her hair, it's so much a part of her it goes to the root of her hair. Sometimes sin is such a deep part of my lives that I feel I have to dive into the ocean in order for it to be washed away. The stars in the sky represent that eternal endless east to west, there is no end to the sky. I am so glad that Christ has washed my sins away, that they are in the ocean far from me.
