Hopeing For Fruit

Good Morning All,
Sometimes it is difficult to see past the situation we are in and sometimes we forget where we have come from. I just know that God has never abandoned me in any situation or time in my life. If we can only rejoice in the good times and fail to see the good in the hard times then hope fails, and soon every time will look as if it were the hard times. Persevere and hold on, find joy and peace in your surroundings and hope will grow. Just like my peach tree that blossoms every spring. In the fall it begins to shed its leaves and soon winter takes over and leaves the branches baren and dry. All through the winter the tree sleeps pushing what it has saved on the inside towards the branches and soon buds begin to appear. These tiny buds burst forth with a brilliant display of pink and once again that dead tree comes to life. The flowers are a promise of fruit to come. Fruit that is sweet and tender, that brings satisfaction to your hungry body. However if the tree is never allowed to have a time of dormancy, than how would it ever be able to save energy in order to fruit again. That peach tree is the story of my life. Each season it goes through, I go through and I pray that every season, just like that peach tree, that I will come out of my dryness of Spirit and produce that spiritual fruit that is waiting on the inside. The peach tree does not hope it will produce fruit it just produces it, because that is what it was made to do. I was made to produce fruit, we all are, and when we don't produce fruit, like that tree, we are in danger of dying on the inside just like that tree. If I stop watering that tree, it will die, it depends on an outside source for its life and nutrients. Water, sun, soil, without these the tree will cease to exist. If I stop listening to God, I will die, I depend on Him for my life and spirit. Faith, hope, love, without these I cease to exist. Lord strenghthen me today, help me to have faith like the rich soil that feeds my peach tree, help me to have hope, like the warm sun that feeds its leaves, and help me to have love, like water that gives life to everything. Watch over all who read this email protect them any evil or temptation that may cross their path, thank you Jesus for dying on the cross, and for giving me faith, hope, and love.
